The 2010 Sea Otter is here. This is the 20th year of this event, and the third one that we participate in We have pretty much covered all the riders in the Cat2 men 16-18 downhill race on our photo gallery site.

What makes the Sea Otter so special?

Sea Otter is for Everyone

The first year we went, we did not know what to expect, and having had some experience of Monterey's weather, I still don't know what to expect - weather wise that is. The wind blew our tent that we could barely sit upright without toucing the roof. Last year we went with an RV and had to run the AC because it was so hot, this year? All bets are off.

Downhill racing

The Sea Otter is a fantastic place to be a spectator, photographer and to just enjoy the skill of the reiders coming down that hill. You can get really close to all the riders, there are jumps, burms, technical sections and they are all within easy reach. To view all the 2009 pictures, go to our gallery site

Cross Country

This is the one race a year I do. The rolling hills, long uphills and sandy traps make it great, but not to difficult or to technical or too easy ride. We have a number of pictures available at our gallery site.
