Mercedes Benz Mountain Bike
Yes, you read right. Mercedes Benz is making a mountain bike and it is the perfect gift for dad who has it all.
In April this year they announced an ellegantly designed all mountain bike, see below.
The bike has an aluminium frame and weighs in at about 30 pounds (13.5 kg). It comes with Rock Shox suspension. In the front they use the Rock Shox Recon 335 with adjustable suspension, damping, rebound and lockout. The travel is about 4.7" (120 mm). The back uses the Rock Shox Monarch 3.1 mixed oil air suspension that also comes with adjustable rebound and compression and a 4.7" travel.
The brakes are Avid Juicy 5s hydraulic discs on 7" rotors and the rims are DT SWISS X430 26" fitted with Continental's Mountain King Falt 2.2" tires.
If you do plan to get this toy for the special someone in your life, it will set you back about 2,800 Euros, or somewhere in the order of $4,000.
